Terms of Service
Last updated: May 1, 2026
Welcome to Still. By using the Still mobile application (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. About Still
Still is a meditation and prayer app that delivers Bible verses with guided breathing, ambient audio, prayer journaling, and sleep mode.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Still, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
3. Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use this app. If you are located in the European Union, you must be at least 16 years old, or have obtained verifiable parental consent, to use this app. If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you confirm that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use this app.
We do not knowingly allow users under these ages to create accounts. If we become aware that a user is under the applicable minimum age, we will delete their account.
4. Account
- An anonymous account is created automatically when you first open the app.
- You may optionally link your account to Apple or Google for recovery purposes.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account.
- You may delete your account at any time from the Profile Edit screen, which permanently removes all associated data from our servers.

Auto-Renewal Disclosure (United States — California Residents)
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the rate stated above unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You will receive a confirmation of your subscription via your app store account. To cancel, go to your device's store subscription settings. No refund is provided for any unused portion of a subscription period.
EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a subscription contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason (the “cooling-off period”), unless you have expressly requested that the service begins during this period and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has begun. By starting to use premium features immediately after purchase, you expressly request immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the subscription has been fully performed.
To exercise your right of withdrawal before service begins, contact us at contact@stillmoment.io within 14 days of purchase.
6. User Content
- You retain ownership of any content you create (prayer notes, letter text, favorite notes, profile information).
- Letters you compose are encrypted on your device before being stored.
Prayer journal entries and personal notes are stored in plain text (unencrypted) on our servers. Do not enter content you would not want disclosed in the event of a data breach.
- You agree not to use the app to create, store, or share content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
- We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to any content that violates applicable law or these Terms.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with the app
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
- Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Post or share content that is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise offensive
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Spam other users or use the app for unsolicited commercial communication
- Use the app in any way that could damage, overload, or impair our servers
8. Reporting & Enforcement
Reporting Inappropriate Behaviour
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these Terms, you can report it by:
- Using the Report button on any user's profile within the app, or
- Emailing us at contact@stillmoment.io with details of the concern.
We review all reports in good faith and will take appropriate action, which may include removing content, issuing warnings, or suspending or permanently terminating the account responsible.
Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, if we determine that a user has violated these Terms. In serious cases (such as threats of harm, exploitation of minors, or repeated violations), we may also report the matter to relevant law enforcement authorities.
If your account is terminated for a violation, you are not entitled to a refund of any unused subscription period.
You may appeal a suspension or termination by contacting us at contact@stillmoment.io within 14 days of the action. We will review the appeal and respond within a reasonable timeframe, though we are not obligated to reinstate accounts found to be in violation.
Our Limitations
Still is a small-team app. We do not pre-screen user-generated content (profile text, bios, intentions) and cannot guarantee that all content visible in the community complies with these Terms at all times. We rely on user reports to identify violations and act promptly when notified.
9. Intellectual Property
The app, its design, code, content, and branding are the property of the Still founding team. Bible verses are in the public domain. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without our permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Still is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. The app is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or spiritual advice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Still and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data.
Nothing in this clause limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection rights in your jurisdiction.
12. Dispute Resolution (United States Users)
If you are located in the United States, you agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in a class action lawsuit or class arbitration. You waive any right to participate in a class action. This arbitration clause does not apply to claims that may be brought in small claims court.
This clause does not apply to users located outside the United States.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide notice within the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of France, except that:
- If you are a consumer located in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply and cannot be overridden by this clause.
- If you are a consumer located in Canada, the mandatory consumer protection laws of your province of residence also apply.
- US arbitration disputes are governed by Section 12 above.
